• The land

Plantamor is located in El Escobonal, in the south-east part of Tenerife.

Our land is rooted on 5,298 m² of fertile volcanic land, that unfolds across descending terraces.

Along one edge runs Barranco Redondo, where birds nest, silence settles, and the whispers of ancient Guanche culture seem to linger in the air. It is a place that invites stillness, reflection, and a deep connection with nature.

Facing east, Plantamor welcomes the first light of each day as the sun rises over the Atlantic Ocean. From this direction also blow the wild Alisios trade winds that gift us with endless oportunites to practice being centered.

Plantamor's land offers a space to redefine who you are and how you react when exposed to such rawness.

  • Natural building

As we learn from nature, we choose bio-construction as one of our languages. We want our structures to breathe, age, and reintegrate into the earth like a fallen tree. We mostly use materials the earth offers us — materials that, at the end of their life, will return to her without leaving a toxic trace.

We integrate the natural building in our healing work by bringing awareness into “what you are working on inside”. What moves in you when building the foundations of a structure is not the same as what moves in you when building a floor, a roof, a cave… We offer this practical opportunity to engage with your inner work and use feelings to create.

We learnt about natural building through experimenting.

We had the necessity, and by trusting our feelings and our instincts and using them to step forward and take action, the knowledge poured through us.

We connected with the joy of coming together to support each other in building each nest. Making it perfect wasn’t really the priority. Over the years we continue to learn and improve our techniques and we still love integrating new possibilities.
