Why feelings work ?

Responsibility defines our power to create.

When we associate responsibility mainly with difficulty and hardship, our actions can become centered around avoiding it.

When seeing responsibility as joyous and as an opportunity to express our authentic love for something or someone, things look entirely different.

Through our collective living experiences over the last 8 years we have experienced a vast continuum or spectrum and different zones of responsibility.

For mainly our first years we lived the consequences of many us relating to responsibility from the Child-Level of Responsibility. There was an unspoken demand that "the community" was responsible for taking care of us, taking care of our finances, of our food, our purpose in life, even of our children. The motivation of contributing to a space would come with an expectation or a "should":

“I should participate because it is expected of me, or because everyone else is, or because I will be judged if I don't.”

In the last years we have moved more towards the Adult-level of responsibility, meaning each person started to clean up the messes they made and take care of their needs, but that’s it.

"I do my part, your do yours —no more and no less". Others could benefit from the proposals I make, but that isn’t the point.

Occasionally some people have operated at High-Level Responsibility throughout the years, but we mostly started having this awareness through encountering the Possibility Management framework. This looks like:

"I clean up messes because I want to, because I am inspired to, because I am delighted to. I am at source, actively shaping and creating the culture where I and others can thrive"

In Radical-Level of Responsibility, which is the level of responsibility we are standing for and orienting ourselves towards, we choose to engage with the world with the clarity that we are responsible for any messes we encounter. We are willing to accept that as humans we are all individually as well as collectively responsible for the mess on this planet, and that at any time we can become the source, guardian and creator of anything that we treasure in life.

"Life is about being in ecstatic service to my stand and committing to something far bigger than myself —without overwhelm, without pressure, without knowing or even needing to know how. "
